Rainbow Moonstone Crystal Tree

Rainbow moonstone is, strictly speaking, a white labradorite rather than true moonstone — a plagioclase feldspar whose blue flash comes from light interfering between microscopic internal layers. The blue flash appears from certain angles only and disappears as you turn it. An even, always-visible shimmer suggests glass.

Mohs 6 to 6.5 with two cleavage directions, so it splits rather than chips. Avoid knocks and ultrasonic cleaners. This is a wire-and-adhesive piece: never rinse or soak it, because water works into the wraps and the base and loosens them, usually permanently. Dust it with a soft dry brush rather than a cloth, which snags on the wires, and always lift it by the base.

No. Rainbow moonstone is traditionally associated with that, and the tradition is genuine and often very old, but there is no scientific evidence that any stone can bring intuition or emotional balance, or that it produces any physical or psychological effect. Nothing here is medical, psychological or financial advice. What it honestly does is remind you of something you decided yourself.
