What orgonite actually is

An orgonite piece is crystal chips and metal shavings cast into clear resin, which cures hard and clear. The name comes from “orgone,” a term coined by the psychoanalyst Wilhelm Reich in the 1930s for a life energy he believed he could accumulate. Modern physics and medicine never found any evidence for orgone, and Reich's claims were formally discredited. The craft that grew up around the idea in the 1990s is what produced these objects.

We would rather tell you that than let you assume there is science behind the word. What you are buying is a well-made resin-and-crystal object with a long-established place in modern crystal practice — and, quite separately, a genuinely attractive piece of desk or shelf decor that catches light in a way little else does.

What is in the collection

Twelve pieces, including the Pyrite Orgonite Pyramid, traditionally kept where money is handled, and the Om Orgonite Pyramid. Dimensions and the stones used are on each product page. Because the chips settle differently in every pour, no two pyramids are identical.

Care

Cured resin is durable but it scratches, and it yellows with years of strong direct sunlight — keep a pyramid off a sunny windowsill if you want it clear long-term. Wipe with a soft damp cloth and dry it; no solvents, which will haze the surface permanently.

What this is, and what it isn't

These are crystal and metal pieces cast in resin. Crystals have a long place in tradition and in ritual practice, and that is the spirit in which we sell them. Orgone energy is not a recognised phenomenon, and there is no peer-reviewed evidence that orgonite or any stone reduces stress, improves focus, cleanses energy, attracts prosperity, or alters the physical energy of a room.
