Is this real angelite, and how can I tell? +

Angelite is a trade name for anhydrite — calcium sulphate without water, the dehydrated relative of gypsum. Mohs 3.5. Its pale blue-grey is soft and even, often with fine white veining.

How should I look after this bracelet? +

This is the critical one: anhydrite reacts with water and will slowly convert back to gypsum, so water genuinely damages it. Never wash it, never soak it, and keep it out of damp rooms. It is also soft enough to scratch very easily. On a stretch bracelet the elastic is what fails first, not the stone, so roll it on and off rather than stretching it wide, and take it off before showering.

Does this bracelet aid angelic communication or calm? +

No. Angelite is traditionally associated with that, and the tradition is genuine and often very old, but there is no scientific evidence that any stone can aid angelic communication or calm, or that it produces any physical or psychological effect.
